Our engineering, fabrication, automation, and scenic art departments continuously and collectively draw from decades of hands-on experience in the shop, in the theatre and on the road to bring creative economical solutions and best practices to our clients.

MANHATTAN THEATRE CLUB

Founded in 1970, MTC is committed to the creation of new plays and musicals through an intensive Artistic Development Program that offers commissions, script evaluation, dramaturgical support, readings and workshops. Using the work on its stages, MTC’s Education Program promotes active participation in the arts through in-class instruction, student and family matinees, teacher training, internships and internet-based distance learning. In constantly seeking new ways to innovate, MTC keeps theatre alive and relevant.
MTC now includes a subscriber base of 20,000 and produces on Broadway in the Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (renamed in 2008 after the pioneering Broadway publicist) on West 47th Street and at the historic New York City Center complex on West 55th Street. Each season is distinguished by the variety of the repertoire.

Located in sunny San Diego, California, The Music and Theatre Company maintains some of the finest theatrical scenery, props, costumes and specialty stage items in the world. In addition to our extensive rental inventory, we also provide a full range of theatrical consulting and collaboration to our clients.

THE OLD GLOBE

The Old Globe has been home to the most acclaimed national artists, designers, directors, and playwrights in the theatre industry. More than 20 productions produced at The Old Globe have gone on to play Broadway and Off Broadway, garnering 13 Tony Awards and numerous nominations. In 1984 the Globe was the recipient of the Tony Award for Outstanding Regional Theatre for its contribution to the development of the art form. These awards bring world attention not only to The Old Globe but also to San Diego’s rich cultural landscape.
The Old Globe annually produces 15 mainstage productions from all periods and styles, ranging from Shakespeare to an ongoing emphasis on the development and production of new works, along with the annual family musical Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! With a current operating budget of approximately $20 million, the Globe is one of San Diego’s largest arts institutions, its leading arts employer, and among the nation’s top-ranked regional theatres. More than 250,000 people annually attend Globe productions and participate in the theatre’s arts engagement programs and outreach services.

We produce familiar and lesser-known plays and musicals with the ability to take artistic risk as only a not-for-profit can. We discover talented playwrights and provide them long-term artistic support to contribute to the future of the theatrical canon. We reduce the barriers —financial, physical and cultural—that can inhibit theatergoing. We collaborate with a diverse team of artists to identify programming for consideration. We build transformational education experiences that enhance teacher practice, deepen student learning, and ignite the futures of young people through career training and placement. We captive and archive over five decades of production history as an open resource for artists, scholars, and our community.

SECOND STAGE

Second Stage Theater produces work entirely by 21st century American playwrights both on and off Broadway. Dedicated to adventurous contemporary plays and musicals, bold new interpretations, and unique theatrical experiences, the work at Second Stage reflects diversity and inclusiveness. Through the discovery of emerging talent and the commissioning of new work, Second Stage nurtures future generations of theater artists. Second Stage welcomes a theatergoing audience of all backgrounds.

Showman Fabricators is one of the most recognized and well-known specialty fabricators of scenic environments for Television, Theater, Museums, Corporate Events, Public Spaces and Retail Stores. They have recently expanded and completed renovation on their spectacular, state of the art facility in Bayonne, NJ and provide the most comprehensive services for our clients including Fabrication of Custom Projects, Design/Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, Graphic Output, CAD Modeling, CNC Waterjet and Routing, Installation Labor, Maintenance Labor, Storage and Logistics.
