FAQ

How do I gift a drop?

We would love to recycle your drop for you! Contact Jen@scenerybags.com
We pay for all shipping and transportation.

Are the drops cleaned?

Yes they are. We take special care in ensuring our fabrics are properly cleaned before they go into production. However, since we source our fabrics from retired theatrical sets, the original materials used on the fabric are many times unknown. Please exercise caution around your little ones, as this product may contain lead, or other chemicals known to be flammable or potentially cause harm.

Why is there a warning label?

Some of the drops we receive are from Theatres that have sadly closed their doors and retired all of their inventory. Leaving us many older drops, that have no know history attached to them. We are thrilled to be able to give them a new life, but since we cannot know for sure the fabrics, paint types, or treatments used on these drops, we added a warning, just to make sure you exercise caution around your little ones.

How soon will I receive my order?

We're so glad you're excited about your order! We are too! We do our best to process all shipment orders within 72 hours of receiving them. With the exception of weekends and holiday rush times. The arrival date will depend on the shipping method selected at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

We do! We ship worldwide! Please note that Scenery has no control over how countries choose to levy custom fees, duties, or other taxes on incoming goods. We cannot predict what the customs fees will be. If you are not familiar with your country's importing policies and taxation practices, please check before ordering.

Product care

We believe that all of our bags are made out of works of art and should continue to be treated as such. If you need to spot treat your bag:

-The canvas painted bags should be spot treated with cold water and mild soap

-The velour curtain bags cannot get wet. Velvet gets water spots very easily. If you have a bag made from one of our curtains you can try to spot treat it with distilled water (no soap) or have it dry cleaned.

-Our satin curtain bags are the most delicate and we recommend scotch guarding them before use, and keeping them in their dust bags between uses. If they get wet, dry them with a hairdryer on low heat to avoid water stains. A cotton ball can work to soak up extra water before you dry, but be sure not to rub the water or it can cause water streaks.
